The Custom has beautiful tone color's, and an evenness through the range that Johannes Gerber mouthpieces are known for, both in response and the sound. Every area of this mouthpiece is finished in spectacular detail. (See more photos below description)

The baffle is medium high and blends smoothly into an aerodynamic chamber, with a round throat area that gives a 'pop' to the sound.

By changing your embouchure and air speed, many different sounds and effects can be achieved from this mouthpiece. The sound is warm and never 'thin' sounding in the upper register and altissimo. The high register is fat sounding with presence to make you stand out as an individual. The low register is crisp and clear sounding - you can hear the reed's slapping - it just sings.

This mouthpiece has excellent projection with a great dynamic range and is very easy to control when playing very softly, or when playing very loud. Subtones are effortless.

No ligature or cap in this auction. The special matching JG ligature and cap and be purchased for $60-00 extra.
