For sale is a new handmade Johannes Gerber alto saxophone mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is really special with beautiful tone color's, and an evenness through the range that Johannes Gerber mouthpieces are known for, both in response and the sound. Every area of this mouthpiece is finished in spectacular detail. (See photos below description) The baffle is medium high and blends smoothly into an aerodynamic chamber, with a round throat and very slight concave sidewalls, all carved out by hand. Many different sounds and effects can easily be achieved by altering the air speed and embouchure. A bright edgy tone can be achieved by focusing your airstream and using fast air. The sound can also be very mellow and classic sounding by using less power and slow air. The mouthpiece is very loud when pushed hard and the sound never breaks up while pushing very hard. Subtones in all registers are very easy to achieve, especially the low register.

The beak angle is very comfortable and wider than a Guardala.

A special ligature makes more reeds work and really frees the vibrations, because of the minimal contact with the mouthpiece and reed.

Mouthpiece comes with special ligature and cap, packed in a velvet lined tin.

Unfortunately South African Paypal accounts cannot receive money, they can only be used to send money with.

At this time I can receive wire-transfer to a bank account or moneygram.

Wire transfer to South Africa is quite costly in certain areas and takes 1 to 14 days to appear in my bank.

Moneygram is a cash deposit system which is very reasonably priced and instant.

Example: To send up to $500 from the US will cost you $10. To send more than $500 and up to $1000 will cost you $15 from the US.
